Watsonville Fire Department, Chief Gene Friend Museum

This museum offers an up close and personal view of the apparatus and equipment used during the history of the Watsonville Fire Department. The building was in use from 1924 to 1982 when the new building adjacent to the museum was opened. The two buildings together offer a glimpse of the past as well as the present. The museum is operated by the Watsonville Firefighters’ Association, a registered non-profit organization.
